    Enjoyable adventure! The chase scenes were nice and tense with a villain who shows he's more than a match for the heroes, and who enjoys switching up the action for his own amusement.

    I particularly enjoyed it as a companion piece to King Kong, I'm sure the jungle sets were reuses and Fay Wray did her trademark "screaming while being picked up and carried of screen".

    I also liked how hammy the opening boat crash is where every single sailor…

    I enjoyed The Crow more than I expected. It had lots of odd, even cheesy elements but they add up to a surprisingly slick and undeniably cool whole.

    I loved that like all action films, the hero is literally invincible until facing the final villain; except here it is part of the plot. It really heightened to the 'avenging force of nature' feeling that you see so often in other films.
