I'm sorry (I'm actually not), but I fundamentally reject the doomerist premise of this film. The idea that humanity faces extinction due to some natural disaster, and the only way to save it is by finding a new planet, is absurd. We literally have the means to manipulate the climate, and weather, hell, we can even genetically modify the crops. Surely, it could have been found out what the cause of this global blight is, and then solved with technology…

This isn't going to be a proper review. Just some of my thoughts.
WALL·E is the last exceptionally good Pixar movie. The animation is beautiful, and it's complimented perfectly by the choice of music, as well as the film's two main characters. I didn't like the live action parts. Why were they even live action?
It's bizarre though, how a huge private company like Disney would allow a movie about a huge private company destroying Earth to be made. Either they are too dumb to see the irony or they are aware of it, and are just mocking us.
