Firstly let's get rid of the obvious, this is a 2 part movie however unlike most part 1's in a series it dosent end on a ridiculous cliffhanger, it managed to wrap up its side plots leaving the main one still unresolved but it dosent feel forced in a way. Insidious: The Red Door 2023
This film was slightly underwhelming for me, as a massive fan of the first movie I expected this one to follow the same sort of formula but was sadly let down by, a lackluster final Act, strange and uninteresting story choices and no real sense of purpose for the films existence. I will say however Ty Simpkins and Patrick Wilsons performance was very good. But overall Insidious the Red door was a lackluster final to a beloved Horror Franchise.
