Gimme Shelter isn’t just a documentary about the Rolling Stones - it’s a snapshot of the dark, brutal side of the late '60s. It shows how the peace and love vibe of the time collided with violence and chaos. It's not just about the band’s tour, it’s about the madness and the mess that was happening everywhere. the movie captures that raw, unsettling energy, putting the whole era into a darker perspective.

    The Substance

    ★★★★

    1. Somehow, the most disgusting part of the movie was eating the shrimp. (still a lot of disgusting shots)  But everyone talked about it so much that I was expecting something even worse and more disgusting.
    2. I like the main idea and message of the movie.
I like how the smiling scene became a meme.
    3. No matter what anyone says, it’s really well-shot.
    4. I didn’t like the last 25 minutes of the movie. It’s some kind of chaos, something messy and unclear. I would have made the ending different.
