What the hell did I just watch. Plot was non-existent and so were Nicole Kidman's acting skills. They couldn't have picked any other old chick? Antonio Banderas carried and he had like 10 lines max in the movie. Dickinson and Nicole had no chemistry. Who fucking grunts like that. Overall, Dickinson was hot until he danced and Banderas should've just killed Kidman lowkey.

The Strangers: Chapter 1 2024
Decent jump scares and was left on the edge of my seat a few times. A lot of the scenes went shot for shot for the original. The cinematography didn't really hit like how the other one did - quite unfortunate. The writing was actually pretty terrible but for a horror movie, not the worst. A lot of stupid things happened that just made me ask "why?" Definitely would recommend the original over this one. Interested to see how chapters two and three pan out however.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night 2014
Where do I even start? The movie being in black and white allowed for incredible light and shadows to be casted. Soundtrack fit the movie to a T. The scene where they're in her bedroom and she puts the vinyl on the record player was wonderfully shot. The slowness of the scene made me crave more; I couldn't look away. Absolutely recommend a watch if you can deal with the subtitles.
