In my heart this is a 5 star action/scifi. Dead simple without being stupid. Cool characters, great action sequences, and a wonderful aesthetic with a fun, grimy synth score to match. Unfortunately, some of the VFX haven't aged well and the psychic sequences with Olivia Thirlby are poorly acted, cheesy, and slow down what is otherwise a phenomenally paced, good-ass time. I also just don't buy Lena Headey as a badass. I still love this movie though. It's 100% worth your time at 95 minutes and a sequel would be very welcome. Karl Urban's got a great mouth on him.
