  Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 2005

  Why does this not get more love?  That finale was one of the most thrilling things to watch in the series so far.  Sure it doesn’t have the visual aesthetic of Prisoner of Azkaban, but this does start to set things up amazingly for what’s to come.  The characters feel a lot more real this go around due to the complex relationships evolving, and the beginning is really great.  Underrated addition to the series.

  Is it better to speak or to die

  I’ll never forget the chokehold this movie had on me the first time I watched it.  I remember describing it as visual poetry and I stand by that statement.  It’s a modern day classic.

  Not the masterpiece I remember it being but nonetheless, an excellent Chaplin film.  Like all of his movie he tackles some pretty deep messages here but in a comedic way, which is always interesting to see.  The score sounds like something I’d imagine you would hear at an actual circus, but at the same time not if that makes any sense.  The ending is also probably my 2nd favorite ending to a Chaplin movies I’ve seen, rivaled only by the…
