  I wish I had this film as a child. This film was so healing and powerful to watch as a mixed race person, but it is also a film that everybody can relate to and learn from in some way. It reminded how far we have come as a society in terms of identity and race as well as how much work we still need to do. This film truly holds a very special place in my heart.
