This was a tough watch, I won’t lie. But so many many details in the costumes, the sets, the body language, the literal language, and the music added up to something really meaningful.
The scene is set beautifully, panning over the Mojave Desert with a man walking aimlessly while we sit still. It’s clear he won’t run away from us, the viewer, but he doesn’t want to go anywhere either.
