holy fuck. this was incredible. matt damon and casey affleck i love you both.
lee and patrick’s relationship has two sides to it. they obviously care about each other but they’re both so angry and upset by their traumas that they take said anger out on each other.
casey affleck definitely deserved to win that oscar. he was brilliant. “one of the best films of the 21st century”.

idc what anyone says, i will always cherish this movie bc of what it did for me. although it may not be completely book accurate, i still really like it. i think if there wasn’t a book, it would be a great movie, but bc there is one, it’s only good.
