What a profound ending. That, and the climax, begs the question of what the difference is between the humans and the living dead. They’ll both kill without thought, and humans will lose their humanity in the same way that the living dead do when things get tough.
Loved that the intelligence of the living dead were established in the first encounter with the brick and the window. Raised the stakes considerably. Also thought the news broadcast was a clever device…
