Bank Of Dave was a fantastic surprise.

I knew nothing about this film before watching it. I only knew of one of the actors in it as well. I love how the film represented the north of England (obviously with a focus on Burnley).

I thought his reason for should have been that he’d fallen in love with Burnley. But that is a minor issue.

    Had a great time watching.

This is as objective a score I can give. I thought that this was a very good adaptation in terms of its staying true to the stage show.

Fun film. Easy to watch. The actors did a good job with their roles. But, in the effort to make the film funny, it does struggle to build the intensity in the 'dramatic' moments. However, it was clear that it wasn't supposed to be serious. All in all, a decent film - didn't blow my mind, but didn't disappoint either.

This was a fun film, with great comedic timing and good characters.

The "whodunnit" style of the film starts well, but in order to fulfil the description introduced early on in the film, the surprise is sacrificed a little too early.

The back and forth from the main characters works very well and I'm very pleased that the innocence of the comradeship between them was maintained throughout the film. This meant the film could stay focused on the primary focus, finding the killer of the director.

I was entertained and engaged throughout, and I left the film happy and satisfied with the experience.
