I thought this was delightful.
I don't often watch rom-coms, so I don't know if they're all this formulaic (it felt like a sci-fi When Harry Met Sally). While you know from the beginning how the story will end, the journey to get there was still enjoyable. The visuals were interesting and vibrant, the music was great, and the characters were fun.
I feel like you can make a commentary on gross hyper sexualization under capitalism without actually being grossly sexually exploitative. But, not this movie, I guess.
And the goofiness of the last act was disappointing.
This was fucking great. That ending, man. Just fucking great.

Some thoughts:
I still can't get over how Leia and Han could have such a fugly child. Are we sure he wasn't adopted? Rey is more believable as their offspring.
Apparently you can basically do anything with the force now? Heal wounds. Pass items across space. Bring people back from the dead. Fill an entire goth amphitheater with thousands of chanting minions. Huh?
