As someone who adores the og, I loved so much about this. A similarly great reimagining and building off source material as guadagnino’s suspiria! Lily rose depp is a revelation, and the costuming and general visual style is so great. EXCEPT why the hell did Orlok have a mustache. A deeply unserious character design that aims to be historical and instead looks like Jim carrey egghead mixed with rasputin from hell boy. Here for the grotesque sexuality
