  thoroughly enjoyed this! this isn’t an entirely new idea (my friends compared it to dorian grey) & the feminism here is pretty basic but i still think fargeat did a wonderful job melting together body horror, capitalism, and misogyny. demi moore & margaret qualley were fantastic 🩷

  the cast here all do a brilliant job & sebastian stan’s transformation over the course of the film was great to watch. camera work was really effective, too!

  successfully made me feel bad for everyone involved in this story — but only in the way that i feel bad for the royal family: they would all be so much happier if we abolished the system they use to stay on top. 

  i don’t think there was anything particularly new that this film…
