Beautiful and heartbreaking. The loneliness and alienation are palpable. The cool hues and busy setting provide a perfect backdrop for Murray and Johansson's taboo and ultimately doomed pseudo-romance to blossom and fade away.

Upon seeing this a few years ago, I began to question why Scary Movie even got made. This film has a lot of shortcomings, but I still find it to be enjoyable on multiple levels. Once you get past the utter stupidity of its screenplay, you can enjoy the retro futuristic portrayal of the coming millennium.
