Cheap sentimentality, sappiness from beginning to end. The suspension of disbelief is impossible on this one. They made the robot and the animals act all dramatic and threw in catchphrases that were so cheesy it was embarrassing. The whole 'being a robot' thing is nothing more than a gimmick, the movie treats the robot as if it had free will and feelings the whole time, with nothing even remotely deep about it. It's just a shallow animation with a cute art to keep kids entertained while watching.
