  what I liked most about this film were the conversations about pleasure and sex that followed with friends on the street outside the theater after it ended. A close friend opened up to me about her unsatisfactory past with pleasure. Watching the film empowered her to be honest about her sexual desires and as I held space for her as she vented, I thought about how powerful this form of media is. Take away point is to continue living authentically and not to settle for a pleasureless partnership.

  need to rewatch. saw it when I was in hs, probably why I got into raving later, but I forgot about this movie and saw a clip of it on ig! hit with a wave of nostalgia. I'll watch and dance from my bed
