Overly convoluted, I know thats the point for this movie but like at least make it make sense for some aspects. Like they planned for him to attempt suicide on specifically ONE side of the building??! Fuck off lmao, I wouldn't be surprised if Nicholas was in on it too the way the game hinges on all of the specific actions that he does.

Arrival 2016
Very cool approach to an alien movie and very interesting concepts shown, like the General alien design and form of speech. Whenever the movie is showing the aliens it is at it's best. The military personnel/Colonel are understandably intended to be 2-dimensional characters, I just find most scenes kind of feel insignificant up to the end with them. Jeremy Renner also is kind of mid in this.
