This sort of cheapness can be charming, but this is seriously lacking in energy. Feels like Craven doing a job with zero passion or enthusiasm. Not quite as lazy as The Hills Have Eyes Part II, but still. The PG rating doesn't help either; some torn limbs would've jazzed things up a bit.
I did like Barbeau's sidekick, Jude. He was genuinely quite funny.
Clumsily written and acted at times, but refreshingly emphatetic. Certainly wasn't expecting something like this from a 50's film about a misogynistic sniper. Very nice cinematography too, I especially liked the hand-on-the-stove shot.

Body Parts spends like an hour asking the question: "Where does evil live?" Then it answers that question and the answer is "Brain! Destroy the brain and you destroy the evil residing in any other body part as well."
A silly movie.
A soldier returning from war is expected to have changed. Being quiet and reserved, even traumatised, that is all just expected. "Who knows what terrible things he saw?" someone might ask. But how about "what terrible things did he do?" Nobody wants to know that. A soldier is a hero, not a monster.
