A Real Pain 2024
You light up a room and then you shit on everything in it.
Kieran Culkin once again gives the kind of performance that blows through like a hurricane. The mismatched chemistry of these two cousins plays perfectly with a group of mostly balanced surrounding characters.
I am once again reminded that I love crunchy, messy, flawed, irritating, charming characters. Give me more.
A quiet film that occasionally slaps you across the face.

Editing and sound for this film felt incredibly rough.
The point this movie was trying to make was very heavy handed, the point this movie actually made was that taking enough things up the ass makes you a better father and husband.
