  The opening sequence of this movie wishes it was the devil wears prada so bad.
  Ngl I actually really enjoyed the last 30 minutes of this movie, some parts were actually quite tender and the chemistry wasn’t nonexistent, but NOTHING could make up the entire hour I had to sit through to get there. The nonsensical setups to force these characters into awkward situations? AWARD WINNINGLY STUPID. Every single character? IRRITATED ME TO DEATH. UNNECESSARY TOTAL NUDITY? Hoo boy in…

  The nostalgia was real with this one I hadn’t seen it in yonks but I was OBSESSED with this film when I was younger
  It didn’t hold up quite as well with fresher eyes- I never realised how clunky the plot was, or how nothing Tina’s character was, but for all its flaws I still really love the magic of Newt’s case and all his creatures. The film has such a magical feel and still envokes that childlike wonder for me, so I ultimately really enjoyed it, can’t fault little Sophie’s taste.
  (Also we love the hufflepuff representation)
