Really cool sound effects, and that's kind of it. A masterclass execution of poor pacing, complete with unimaginative and soulless character backstories and actions.
    Definitely a misfire here imo.

I feel conflicted.. I really enjoyed this movie, but it often veers into chintzy romance that feels very forced and out of place, and relies heavily on silly romantic cliches that detract from the potential for deeper emotional or psychological exploration. If it was more along the vibe of a movie like Alex Garlands 'Annihilation', i feel like this could have been a 5 star film for me.
That being said, still enjoyed it, and the cast is ridiculously good looking.

Just because you can cram thousands of small details and intricate references into a movie doesn't make it genius.
Ohhh it can mean something different to everyone because it's ultimately about life and death and the questioning of the meaning of existence!!! But as a result this just turns into a complete snipe hunt for the very same reason. What is the point of making this? This is just a time consuming study of a story that means nothing because it's supposed to mean everything, riddled with small little details that pretentious idiots can then claim make this a "genius" movie.

    Complete waste of time.

Barely scratched the hype it had.
I'm fine with predictableness in stories if the payoff of finally seeing the predictableness on screen is engaging. Whoops, not quite on the mark here.
So many of the tropes it utilizes have been done better 10x over. It's a reheated microwave meal of the horror genre - bland and damp.

Credit goes to the cinematography and some of the score. That's about it.
