  Gorgeous to look at and beautifully scored. The conclusion to Violet's story left a bitter taste. It felt it took an unsatisfying way to reach that conclusion.

  It felt very formulaic of Richie's films. Fell flat on more than a few scenes and sequences. Does have its funny moments here and there, but it's filled with dull conversations. The characters were definitely on the poorer side, compared to his recent THE GENTLEMEN, or his personal best SNATCH and LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS. It's a good watch, but doesn't have the ultra satirical, comical, gory, and violent confrontations that wrap up the storylines pretty neatly.
