The Monuments Men 2014
A gorgeous film about art and culture that reminds me that there are so so many better and more beautiful and more worthy things in life to chase than power and greed. Maybe if more people thought that too, we could leave beauty to behold rather than own and we’d be in a bit less of a state.

Under extreme duress from my bf I was made to watch this film and I’m actually surprised by how much I didn’t hate it. It was terrifying and I watched basically the entire thing through the frayed edge of a blanket but I laughed at least twice and thought the writing was pretty class. I will probably never watch it again but I kind of want to, very satisfying story, shit yourself scary, the rapist dies at the end and my boyfriend told me he was proud of me for watching the whole thing when it was over. What more can you ask for really
