The history of Godzilla has been covered by people way more suited to it then me so I won't even try. Born of an idea from Tomoyuki Tanaka and fleshed out by Ishiro Honda and Takeo Murata and then fully given life by Eiji Tsuburaya and accentuated by Akira Ifukube, Godzilla has a lot of fathers.
