  Revisiting a favourite. The transition from Chiron to Black still one of my favourite mini stretches in film. Performances are silly good, instant fucking classic.

  The first 30 minutes of this are by far the best in my opinion. Travolta is awesome in this and it’s a great example of a film that shows and doesn’t tell in its storytelling. You learn so much about film making by watching him start to unravel the story. This clearly draws influence from ‘The Conversation’ which is a favourite of mine. I need to watched Antonioni’s ‘Blow Up’ now.
