I'm super delighted to report that I enjoyed this movie much more than I was expecting to. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are such talented vocalists, and they absolutely bodied their respective characters.
Elphaba is strong-willed but so so *SO* tragically slighted. Then we've got Ms. Glinda fighting tooth and nail through the first half of the movie to have a single righteous thought with follow through... which she finally has at the dance! *Queue London Tipton's "Yay-Me!"*
