Captain America: Brave New World 2025

If a movie makes me go to sleep I usually give it a one star. If you can’t keep my attention enough to keep me awake then that’s a problem unless that was their intention. I want to like Captain America so much but maybe it’s not for me. Give the man some powers and abilities. Please.

Nosferatu 2024
There’s not much I can say about this. I thought it was captivating from start to finish. I wanted to look away but found myself slightly intrigued by creepy, gothic, and artistic performance of the entire film. Some parts are weird but in a way that makes you want to bring you deeper into the lore. There’s seems to be a fixation of the male gaze on capturing and controlling White Women (surprise) in film as of recent but that’s a conversation for a different time.

I found the humor in this film pretty entertaining for the most part. Though gruesome, it was done in such a spectacular way that I was balancing my jumps and laughter. There’s some plot holes present that I think are purposeful enough to feel like it honors the original text. I didn’t mind watching it twice!

Unrealistic and flat. Mickey’s performance and the cinematography are what save this film for being trash. The plotline seemed rushed on the second half and the driving point of the film is still lost on me. More than anything else the depiction of a sex worker clearly came from a White Man’s mind in the most basic ways.
