The way this movie was written is the way that every movie should be written. Interesting plot, character progression, kills the character it makes you fall in love with. That is a standard, however, this one of the few movies I've seen that's executed it successfully.
The director could have made choices as far as aesthetics to make the film more interesting, but the plot made up for it. And the acting was incredible. Not a single dry moment in the film. Great movie.
The acting was beyond convincing. Even in a foreign language I knew how sincere it was.
The script not only enabled the actors to play their parts to their fullest abilities, but also kept me interested in it all the way through and showed incredible character as well as plot progression.
The director made some great calls. The aesthetics of the film were wonderful and that just added on the how great everything else was.
The acting was very believable. There was nothing too incredible about it, but it's always very difficult to do "incredible" acting on serious films.
The calls made by the director were also very good. Camera angles were perfect for the general feel of the movie as well as focusing on what on set is important to the character and to the plot.
The writing was incredible. Strong themes remained relevant through the whole plot and made it represent surrealism without being pretentious. The script was realistic and moving, and the two lead characters were very dynamic.
Awesome movie.
Okay, I love bad movies. I fully expected this was going to be terrible, but I had no idea that it would be unimaginably painful to watch.
Typically a bad movie is good if it has one good element, or is at least easy to make fun of. This movie had absolutely no good elements. You can't make fun of it, all you can do is criticize it because making fun of it would just be too easy.
FDR American Badass, now there's a good bad movie.
