I really like this film but I just cannot overlook the fact that Belle clearly has Stockholm syndrome. No wonder she thinks all the inanimate objects are having a chat given the trauma she’s going through.

This film got off to a great start. I like that they break the fourth wall it’s not done enough. I can’t fault Henry cavill in a suit. I loved the strong female characters.
It just didn’t hold my attention all the way to the end. I got a bit bored of her just running around all the time. Oh and I didn’t really understand how she could decipher obscure London street names from those clues.
I will never be ok with anyone but mark gatiss playing Mycroft.

I have to start by saying I was super excited for this film because I loved Inception and expected this to be just as clever.
Just don’t bother. It’s actually embarrassing.
This film tries really REALLY hard to be clever but there is absolutely no logic...and I’m not talking about “wow stuff can move backwards” like even if you suspend disbelief for that bit there is just no reason for anything.
