  Maybe I'm just a romcom hater and this score is unfair. While I enjoyed the characters, the acting and the setting, halfway through i had the strong hope that this movie would subvert the bog standard romcom staples, but sadly it didn't.

  Might’ve gone into this one with too much hype and high expectations. It also didn’t help I was tired as hell when I watched it, so this review might be a bit unfair. Acting and style were fine for the most part. Sadly there was too much fluff and the action was drawn out. The message was wholesome I guess, but nothing new. Long story short, this one didn’t hit for me.

  Annoying to watch the story unfold into, well nothing ironically. A lot of potential with the allegory about grief which was dropped around 3/4 into the movie. I may be a bit harsh on this kids movie but damn.

  Animatronics were amazing.

Following
