I wanted something dumb to watch and I got it. Brian Cox and Edie Falco what are you doing here.
This movie is exactly what a nostalgic relationship feels like between a person and place. Sometimes your memories and your beliefs aren’t exactly what you remember, we romanticize our past. I think this movie portrayed what it’s like to realize some uncomfortable truths about your family past and overcoming them in your own personal way. The lighting and lenses used really captured what I hope San Francisco really feels like.
