im kinda blown away by how good this was, absolutely did not expect to sob like that over a bridget jones film and yet it retained its heart and soul. also hugh grant i love you

The Tattooist of Auschwitz 2024
i appreciate the steps this series took to work on some of the inaccuracies from the book. while it certainly has its flaws, it is always important to depict the incredible plight jewish people went through during WWII. Plus, this show does a lot to emphasize that its aware of the responsibility the topic brings, and honors the victims in graceful ways, such as the bell chimes/shots for those who perished. beautiful acting all around but especially by jonah hauer-king
