You could have told me this was made right after the Polar express bc the dwarves look the same as everything in polar express.
I love how the grand refusal of anything dated in the 1937 brand of the story was not just to make the worst reimagining possible, but to make simply a very bad movie and then reskin it as Snow White.
When this isn’t bad, it’s boring, and those are its only two modes.

It’s contrived, and I think the level of humor and silliness (not a negative) is the only thing that sets this apart.Was interested in this because of Ayo, and of course she delivered. John Malkovich is also phenomenal in this. He is so charismatic in this.
It’s a fun, exciting movie with some good scares. However, the actual movie itself is a bit of a contrived assembly of things that have come before.
