  I def had unnecessarily high expectations for this one bc 1) so much buzz! 2) I’m all in on feminist body horror!!!! But I was disappointed :(

  Rlly enjoyed Demi’s performance, central conceit, cinematography/a lot of the directorial choices…. but there are some SERIOUS script/plot issues. 

  Why would Elizabeth give a fuck about Sue’s success if it didn’t benefit her legacy/experience on earth/even her finances? And I guess Sue is supposed to be ripped from the dark recesses of Elizabeth’s…

  A hellllll of a lot closer to the kind of sly nefariousness I need to see outta Tom Ripley. This movie rocks but is, frankly, seriously lacking in latent homosexuality (and still not as good as the book, !!! sorry !!!)
