Barry Lyndon 1975
I love an opulent period drama with big beautiful costumes and sets. This film is satisfyingly atmospheric, with many scenes looking like some sort of Fragonard painting (maybe not Fragonard, but you get the gist).
My only qualm with this film was that it does move quite slowly at times, with a lot of unimportant scenes dragging on just a touch too long.
