Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose 2023
I think its real thesis - we want our love for others and others' love for us to last beyond our lifespans - is quite heartbreaking, and cleverly weaved at times into the story. it has a stronger beginning than an ending, but enjoyed it. my jaw dropped when i saw the pictures at the end, didn't know real-life people had claimed once to have a talking mongoose in their midst.
