Josh O'Connor's range is spectacular and it's almost insulting how much of it I feel got overlooked in 2024 due to his role in Challengers. Soundtrack alone makes this film great. holy PEAK.
But the ways in which it is overall directed and written are truly one of a kind to me. There's an authenticity to its storytelling, as it's sometimes rapid scene shifts may disrupt the pacing, but in turn, directly visually convey a character's emotions, memories, and fantasies to you. it's very well done imo.
