This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Repetitive and inflated with too much information. And of all the good moments in the life of the best-documented man in history, they chose to focus on the rumors of his wife's infidelity. I waited for the whole movie for him to say "I AM the revolution!" to justify his coronation, but I think another sex scene with Josephine was more interesting in the director's eyes.
The battle scenes are great and I found myself wishing they would happen soon…

I still recall watching this movie for the thousand and twenty-ninth time, or something, drinking chocolate milk after a stressful day at school. It was the peak of DVD piracy and that's why my definitive version of this masterpiece is and always will be the bootleg one. Raimi's Peter Parker taught me that it's not because we're good that we should let the world bully us, and of course, those awesome killer moves. Still having the funky soul since then.
