WOW what a capsule of its time. Fear about murky groups roughly tied together by the spectre of communism, crises of masculinity over women entering the workplace, American individualism as the one true hero, the opulence of 80s corporate life, shoulder pads, unwavering adoration of the cops (the guy says “I killed a kid” and he’s supposed to be the sidekick protagonist??). Definitely left me confused about the physical layout of this building and certain that holly needs to file for divorce asap. This is a fun and telling ride through the 80s
