WOW I was obsessed with this movie as a child. I can’t even count on my fingers the number of times I’ve watched this it’s crazy! Jamie talking to Is is giving a lot more concerning vibes watching this as an adult. Still such a Jason Dolley fan! Where that man at? ALSO LENNY WOW WHAT AN UNDERRATED CHARACTER! Truly he’s so cute and cool, big Lenny fan here.

Very wholesome but I didn’t leave with a super strong message like I was expecting. The ending was way more inconclusive than I thought it would be. I did love the whole emotion montage at the end, but I wanted more. All of Hirayamas interactions were just so sweet but I feel like the interactions peaked too early in the movie for me and I was let down by the later ones. I loved his simple lifestyle and how much he cared for those around him.
