Gurren Lagann the Movie: Childhood's End 2008
In high school the Gurren Lagann works were my first real exposure to anime, so even though we don't have a 4D facility here I couldn't pass up the chance to experience the 15th anniversary re-release in a theater setting.
When translating 26 half hour episodes into 2 two hour movies there are always going to be necessary cuts, and Childhood's End suffers for it far more than the second installment. You need the last 20 minutes of this one…Translated from by
