meta in how it opens up our blinders just as the people of Jutland’s are opened the feast. a Ratatouille that doesn’t rush the punchline, where lofty language and existential posturing (“What is fame? The grave awaits us all”; “The tongue. The tongue. That strange little muscle…”) is undercut & balanced by the weather / hard terrain, which proves fertile ground for the sneaky sensation of “delicious”
