Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem 2003
A trippy musical journey with a vintage anime feel. It feels like a "no duh" for daft punk to do something like this, yet you'd never see it coming. It's also really cool, because it isnt about daft punk at all, just carried by their music.

The movie is a rush which manages to blitz through its somewhat long runtime. The bullet train concept is well executed and captures a new sense of modernized steampunk. The commentary this movie tries to make on classism, however, is really heavy handed. Sometimes this happened to the point it was unintentionally comical.

Making poignant claims about the nature of love and accurately describing the physics of a singularity within the same 30 minutes is nothing to scoff at. The very long runtime sometimes drags the film out a bit.
