Burning 2018
I always enjoy unnerving character arcs, especially ones where there is nothing remarkable about the main protagonists. Jongsu is completely unremarkable until he isn't, Haemi embodies a mundane whimsicality which most cannot help but sympathize with, and Ben is fantastically removed from the common world the protagonists shares which makes his arc all the more demanding. An eerie but calming film.
