  It is a great masterpiece of Mexican cinema. Way ahead of its time. Everything in this movie is impeccably executed. It left me wanting to know more and more about Mexican cinema from this and other eras. Fernando de Fuentes is one of the greatest directors of his time and the world should know more about him and his beautifully crafted work. ¡Que vivan los Leones de San Pablo!
