no movie has ever been this “up my alley” before. i love a movie that feels like silence of the lambs, but has so much uniqueness in tone and style to differentiate itself as nothing more than heavily-inspired. this entire thing felt like a nightmare, and i loved it. the camera felt like a predator and an artist at the same time, with the constant wide-shots and slow zooms. i rewinded scene after scene when i saw the horned demonic figure in the background. i’m gonna finish this later. but consider me satiatef
