The quality of any society can be deduced from its sauce, and the quality of any film can be deduced from Bong Joon-ho. It had the humor, the mystery, the drama, the metaphors for the exploitative individualistic corrupt nature of a capitalist society, the acting! The only thing typically lacking is another hour of film. Bonus for the cute creature baby my capitalist-hijacked brain immediately wanted as a plushie.

Lives up to its name; definitely a kooky premise and execution. Some quality acting and cinematography/aesthetics, but missing *just* enough information to feel fully complete. Although I suppose that facilitated the tension and creepiness. The ambiguity of the plot left just too many questions to suspend belief in a satisfying way. But hey, it had my attention the whole way through. Extra half star for the lesbians, but minus half a star for one of them being underaged.
