the premise is fascinating, and i’m willing to suspend disbelief enough to accept that nikola tesla created a cloning machine, and the plot twists were fun to watch. i think this film could’ve used a different edit especially in the first half of the film; it was confusing in a way that annoyed me rather than intrigued me. it could have relied a little less on exposition to set up the story and focused more on establishing the reasons why…

this film is even better upon a rewatch. i don’t care that every eighth grader in bio has watched it in class. it is so carefully crafted and beautiful and i wish I could’ve watched it for the first time again. eighth graders you should be so lucky to see this film for the first time.
